...Led by female lead singer Catie Larson, The Golden Chariots of Mars are sort of a female and less distorted and heavy version of The Pixies writing angular guitar riffs that juxtapose their enigmatic song structures. Above the crunchy guitars and truncated drums is a noodled bliss of melody that co-exists nicely... Smother.net
...This is an incredible first album from a band with a boatload of talent and potential. The album art is great and the songs are pure. It's probably best to check this band out now before a major label signs the band and ruins it all...Skratch Magazine
